We were very excited about the golden deer, because there was a lot of hype surrounding it. Unfortunately, our expectations could not be met. Unfortunately, it was nothing that could inspire us in any way. The card was very small, which can be a good thing, but in this case it was just a bit weak. The schnitzel was good, but there are also good schnitzel elsewhere. Service was ok. But the prices were quite high. What was really nice was the alpine hut atmosphere. All in all okay, but probably won't necessarily come back.

We visited Easter ˋ17. The restaurant is in the upper segment. Very nice and trained staff. Extremely delicious food in a fine but rustic ambience. Clientele according to the price. Parking behind the restaurant. Very clear recommendation! Tip: goat cheese salad (deer greeting). Delicious green sauce (seasonal). It was a small, fine menu - quality instead of quantity. We especially liked this card. When we visited again in spring 2018, we found that the card had been reduced again. The delicious goat cheese was unfortunately not on the menu. The food was still of very high quality, unfortunately the selection was very limited at this point. Nevertheless: very recommendable!

Best food I have eaten in Germany. I live two hours from here but would gladly drive the distance for this exquisite dining experience. Not to be missed!!
